History! He enlisted in Capt.Corse's company of militia 1 July 1755, was corporal from July 1st to July 31st and sergeant from Nov 1st to Dec 2nd.
He moved to New York where he was made freeman 2 Aug 1757. He moved to Tappan where he enlisted in Col. Harring's regiment 6 Apr 1759. Some time after 1775 he moved back to New York where he remarried.
