Death of a maternal grandmother

Note: Her daughter Claudia wrote of her death: She did die on the 21st at 1:20 a.m. I took her to the clinic the evening before and the nurse prac. sent her to the hospital in the ambulance. She was having chest pains but we weren't expecting that death was imminent. However the drug addicted Dr. on call wouldn't even come to the hospital. He just kept prescribing demerol for pain whenever the nurses would call him. He ordered an EKG for the next morning. He finally went to the hospital about 11:30 that evening and she passed away a couple of hours later. It's certainly is a day I will never forget. I had no way of getting a hold of [Norma] or Mary or Cleon or Dale. All of my kids except Larry were out of town. Jolynn was the only one besides Larry I was able to contact. She went to[Norma's] house that night and sat on the porch until she and Mary got home from their trip and told them about it. Mary got back to Blanding the next day. |
