Dear friends as I have seen your notices in the news that your wanted all of the names of those that cam to Salt Lake Valley in the year 1847. I came in that year with my father's family his name was Josiah Miller we came in Bro Jedidiah M Grants company. Bro Bates Noble was captain of the fifty. My name was then Clarissa Miller, it is now Hoyt. My home is in Orderville, Kane Co, Utah. PS. There is an old gentleman living in this place by the name of Richard Norwood.
